2022 was a hot and dry year, which naturally reduced yields but concentrated quality and structure. The Montepulciano grapes arrived at the cellar healthy and ripe, thanks to careful management and selective harvests. The result is a powerful, dense, and well-balanced wine with good aging potential. A challenging but generous vintage for those who knew how to interpret it.
TASTE
Deep and complex. Enveloping and full-bodied, with soft tannins and a long aromatic persistence. Good structure and harmony between acidity, tannins and alcohol.
COMBINATION
Perfect to accompany meat dishes and risottos, it is ideal in combination with stews, roasts and game.
