Old Bardstown is a label of bourbon that claims to offer high-quality characteristics of bourbon at an affordable price. They recognize it as a sour mash bourbon, which means that they yeast they use in fermentation is the same from batch to batcha bit from the prior batch being retained for the next. The Gold Label bourbon is a younger bourbon, which we take to mean will have fruit notes on the nose and palate. 40% ABV, 80 Proof
