Winemakers Notes
Grape varieties 50% Touriga Francesa, 20% Touriga Nacional, 15% Tinta Roriz, 10% Tinta Barroca and 5% Sousão.
Tasting Notes
Red wine with an intense ruby color, fruity aroma with notes of spices, elegant. In the mouth it is intense, tannins well present but soft, acidity present which gives it freshness, persistence and length in the mouth.
Gastronomy
It harmonizes very well with all meat dishes, whether grilled, stewed or roasted. Game and soft cheeses.
Vinification
In granite lagar with foot treading on the first day and pumping over, stage until the end of fermentation. Inoculation of selected active yeasts and temperature control between 20 and 24ºC.
Ageing
Ages in stainless steel vats with staves for one year.
