Description
Mamertino di Milazzo DOC still red wine, 13% ABV, produced by Planeta. Blend: 60% Nero d’Avola, 40% Nocera, 2020 vintage. A wine born from Planeta’s passion for Sicily, with grapes grown on Capo Milazzo. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 14 days at 25 degrees C. Aged for 12 months in 35 hl barrels. Explosive nose of Mediterranean scrub, blue fruit, and jam. Bright, intense red color with purple highlights. On the palate, dense yet not excessive tannins integrate well with the oak.
