Description
Still white wine from Veneto, 12.5% ABV, produced by Portinari. 100% Garganega. 0.75L bottle, 2018 vintage. A Soave made from a vineyard on the plains, on clay-rich alluvial soil, where the “Doppia Maturazione Ragionata” (Double Rationalized Maturation) technique enhances the varietal’s characteristics. The company, family-run since 1990, produces approximately 30,000 bottles per year. The nose is refined and of excellent intensity, with notes of dried fruit, almond, white flowers, hay, and golden delicious apple emerging. The color is a straw yellow with good concentration. On the palate, it is pleasant, with a pleasantly contrasting freshness and softness, and a lingering finish that invites another sip.
