With the intention of crafting a higher level of “cougar juice”, we set our sights on brisk acidity to balance out the massive amount of butter and oak this wine would convey. Aged for 15 months in new French and American oak barrels, this is a lady in the streets, freak in the sheets type of Chardonnay. That said, it leans more on the whore-ish side. A wild and loose profile with a tight acidity lends to a playful experience going down your throat. After a long, hard day at work, what do you want to cup in your hands and put in your mouth? You guessed it, a BBC. With a blend of 60% French Oak and 40% American Oak, 100% ML Fermentation, and a meticulous process including barrel fermentation, aging, and lees stirring, this wine promises an unforgettable experience.
Tasting Notes
This wine presents a robust aroma, brimming with hints of honey, reminiscent of s’mores without the chocolate, and a subtle strike of a match. On the palate, it unfolds with flavors reminiscent of toasty marshmallows, luscious ripe apple, all balanced by a lively acidity. This wine balances out to be vibrant and plush.
