Intense light yellow color – nose evokes ripe yellow fruit, with a hint of fresh wood and vanilla – round, gourmet palate with hints of smoke and vanilla.
Roland and Catherine Royet’s wine career began in Auvergne: in the early 1990s, the thirty-something couple, passionate about wine, planted Gamay vines in the Côtes d’Auvergne region. They ran the estate with the aim of highlighting the volcanic terroir in their wines, and gradually converted to organic farming. In 2004, Catherine and Roland decided to bring this philosophy to Burgundy. They created Domaine Royet in the village of Change.
