Thiele Road crosses Bethany creek at the foot of the Barossa Ranges and is home to Jason’s family Grenache vineyard. These deep-rooted vines planted in 1941 by Jason’s great-uncle produce fruit with complex flavors and plenty of character.
Thiele Road Grenache always displays a thoughtful side to this historic variety. The wine shows strawberry compote, dried raspberry, fennel, thyme, baking spices and apricot with a gravelly minerality and some baked terracotta for balance. Seriously flavored, with spices sewn throughout the red fruits and a satisfying pliancy to the tannins.
