Description
Saumur-Champigny Clos de l’Echelier Rouge 2021 is a great red wine produced by Thierry Germain of Domaine Roches Neuves in Saumur, in the Loire Valley. It is made from pure Cabernet Franc grapes from rocky soils; vinification is by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in truncated conical vats for a maximum of 18 days. The nose is complex with floral and fruity, spicy and roasted notes, while the palate denotes fullness and elegance.
