Released in late 2007, a peaty single malt from the Tomintoul distillery. 40% ABVTasting NotesNoseFull and pungent. There are notes of heather roots and wood smoke. A dark peat with notes of copper and pine oils with a touch of gentle sweetness from the barley malt.TasteQuite rich and powerful. There are notes of toasted oak with notes of pepper and the smoke thereof. Notes of toasty cereals and supple peat. A wistful ash note builds.FinishLong and hot with pepper and a leafy green note.
