Made from one of Sicily’s most popular grapes, Nerello Mascalese, this is lighter than many other examples you’ll find, designed as an everyday-drinking wine, which can even be chilled. The grapes are from young vines, so the emphasis is on accentuating the fruit characters of red cherry and raspberry, and some lavender, with a touch of smoke and minerality.
