Nicely done, Charmat-method Prosecco. There’s a nice core of lemon, baked apple and almond, with a very gentle perlage and a fruity finish. Maybe lacks a little verve, but that’s the style. Drink now.

The NV Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut is lifted and fresh with dusty yellow flowers and hints of white pepper giving way to dried peaches and pears. It’s juicy and spry in the mouth, balancing tart citrus against ripe orchard fruits, with hints of savory spice and minerals forming toward the close. Residual acids fizzle out through the mouthwatering finale. (Lot 19331).
