Description
Still organic red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 11.5% ABV, produced by Alois Lageder. Historic blend: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmènere. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A wine that celebrates the history and winemaking tradition of Alto Adige. Some of the vines from which this wine is made are 140 years old. Spontaneous fermentation of the crushed grapes, with varying percentages of whole bunches. Aged in large and small wooden barrels, followed by several months of bottle aging. Intense bouquet, finely fruity (raspberry, blackberry, cherry), spicy, earthy with smoky notes. Vigorous structure, balanced, rich in refined aromas, delicately bitter, and rigorous.
