Grapes 100% Pinot Noir
Territory Plain with pebbly soils with fractions of red clay of morainic origin.
Cultivation The vineyards are trained in Guyot, with a density of 4,500 vines per hectare. After a rigorous manual thinning, the final production of grapes is about 1 kg per vine. To obtain a better aeration of the bunches and a better exposure to the sun, the practice of defoliation is implemented.
Winemaking The soft pressing of the grapes, harvested when full phenolic ripeness is reached, is followed by a maceration of about 10 days with frequent pumping over. After racking, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are completed in steel containers. The wine obtained then ages in oak barrels French for about 12 months. It is then aged in bottle for 12 months before being released on the market.

Suggestions From the ruby red emerge notes of pomegranate, raspberry, currant, licorice and delicate spices. On the palate it is enveloping, in excellent balance between freshness and flavor, it fully expresses the territory. The tannins are present but discreet and in closing the aroma of berries persists.
Dwelling in the cellar 10 years and more, if stored in optimal conditions, away from light sources and temperature changes.
