Description
The source is a very well known high end Cabernet producer near St Helena. Almost 32 barrels were blended with no fining, no filtration and one final racking to bottle. The story of the legend of Atticus John was told to us by an old farmer in Napa almost 2 years ago – That he had a several dozen large dogs and lived in the hills of Napa at the turn of the 20th century as a “homme sauvage” living off the land. It sounded genuine enough to capture and use for this wine.
Tasting Notes: currant, blackberry, cherry, bell pepper, olive, asparagus, spice, ginger, oak and vanilla
Nose: currant, blackberry, cherry, cedar and cigar box
