Description
A still white wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13.5% ABV, produced by Bastianich. Blend: 45% Chardonnay, 45% Sauvignon, 10% Picolit, 2021 vintage. Vespa Bianco is the winery’s flagship wine, created in 1997 to convey a strong and clear winemaking message: Friulian white wines, at their finest, are in no way inferior to other leading names on the international white wine scene, both in terms of quality and longevity. It is precisely this longevity that has made Vespa Bianco its strength and built its splendid future, still giving us quality expressions that truly make us dream. On the nose, notes of wax, apricots in alcohol, broom, and honey give the wine an immediate fresh yet structured impact. Its incredible minerality elevates it vertically and gives it extraordinary freshness. Shades of yellow and gold with ancient reflections, very bright and extraordinarily clean. On the palate, all the complexity, enveloping, silky smoothness, and structure of the wine unfold with incredible finesse and elegance, giving rise to sensations of caressing voluptuousness.
