A dry, savory and harmonic taste with a distinct fi nish of wild berries.Bolla uses only fully mature grapes, in order to achieve the maximum expression of Merlots varietal character. The grapes are hand-picked at the correct ripeness and vinifi ed on the skins with about 15 days maceration. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and then undergoes malolactic fermentation. 10% of the wine is aged for 4 months in both American and French oak barrels before blending and bottling to add structure and character.Bolla Merlot is a perfect match for grilled red meats, cold meats, and semi-aged cheeses.” – Bolla
