Description
Still organic red wine from Chambolle-Musigny AOC, 13% ABV, produced by Christian Clerget in Burgundy, France. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Pinot Noir that embodies the elegance of the Burgundian terroir, with meticulous vinification and 18 months of aging in 10% new barrels. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel vats, with pumping over and one manual pressing per day. Gravity-fed racking into barrels preceded by four days of decantation to separate the wine from the coarser lees. Fruity aromas on the nose, accompanied by notes of undergrowth. Ruby red. On the palate, the wine is balanced with soft tannins.
