A still red from the heart of Tuscany, a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, 14.5% ABV, produced by Fanti. Vintage 2013, 0.75L bottle. A wine that embodies the history and passion of a family, with Sangiovese grapes carefully cultivated in the Castelnuovo dell’Abate vineyards. Manual harvesting in October, temperature-controlled fermentation, and aging in barriques and large barrels for at least 24 months give this Brunello extraordinary complexity. The aroma is a riot of red fruit, plum, wild berries, spicy notes, and hints of blond tobacco and white chocolate. The color is a vibrant and intense ruby. On the palate, it is very intense, with present yet enveloping tannins that blend with a fresh, balanced, and lively acidity. A long-lasting wine with a spicy, complex, and fresh note. Perfect with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
