Still red Rosso di Montalcino DOC, 14% ABV, 100% Sangiovese, produced by Tenute Folonari. 0.75 l bottle, 2024 vintage. A Rosso di Montalcino born from the passion of the Folonari family, who have been working in the wine sector since 1700. Produced with grapes from vineyards cultivated on our eponymous estate southwest of Montalcino. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 26°/28°C. Maceration on the skins for approximately 12 days. Aged for 1 year, 6 months of which in 30/40 hl Slavonian oak barrels. The aromas release fresh and crisp fruit with wild cherry notes supported by spicy and slightly alcoholic nuances. The taste is decisive, elegant and savory with lively mineral notes that nicely balance the softness.
