Description
Born from the Barbera grape produced from the vineyard once owned by the parish priest of Agliano; in the heart of the classic production area. Located to the south west, in a clayey limestone soil, it is characterized by a deliberately low but high quality yield.
The green harvest in the July-August period and the subsequent manual harvest at the end of September with a further selection of the best bunches, the artisanal vinification and refinement for more than two years in oak barrels, and for six months in the bottle are the elements that make this great wine unique in terms of structure and character, a great cru that is not just a wine but the expression of the territory, the certainty to have a small treasure in the cellar.
Of a beautiful ruby ??color, tending towards garnet, it gives a clean bouquet, composed of small berries, walnut husk and hints of chestnuts. In the mouth it offers great structure, good acidity and a fruity finish of great persistence.
