This powerful, deep and firmly tannic wine packs in black and blue fruits along with dark chocolate and wood-char accents for a big aroma and massive palate presence. Blueberries, cranberries and black currants dominate the flavors, held snugly by fine-grained tannins. The concentration and balance bode well for further aging. Best from 2028–2040.
