Audens Franciacorta Zero Dosage sparkling wine, classic method, pas dosé, produced by Le Marchesine. Blend: Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Noir. 0.75 l bottle. A Franciacorta that embodies the excellence of Franciacorta, with a history dating back to 1985. The nose immediately reveals spiciness and minerality, with occasional smokiness, reminiscent of citrus zest, sweet-fleshed yet leathery-skinned fruit, such as plum and gooseberry, before moving on to more vegetal notes of vine leaves, elderflower, and essential oils of bergamot, dill, and wild fennel. On the palate, it has excellent tension, very direct, clean, thirst-quenching, and pleasantly dry; the saline acidity is prominent, lending juiciness but, above all, lengthening the flavors, which return to chalky dust, sapid, and vegetal notes.
