Louis Latour Beaune 1er Cru “Perrières” 2022 has a deep ruby color with garnet hues. Its intense nose reveals hints of blackcurrant, licorice and toasted notes. Full and round on the palate, it reveals silky tannins and aromas of blackberry and mocha. Long finish.

The 2022 Louis Latour Beaune Vignes Franches is both compelling and refined. Focused from start to finish, it delivers concentrated aromas and flavors of black fruits and charming ripe strawberries that captivate the palate. A natural companion to a slow-cooked beef stew infused with bay leaf, cracked pepper, and a touch of allspice, this wine offers depth, balance, and lasting appeal. For Beaune this is a very deep and positively ripe wine, yet it moves rather light-footedly over the medium- to full-bodied palate. A wealth of black cherry and forest berry fruit is wrapped around the lovingly crafted tannin structure. So much power and concentration, but also a stunning freshness in the very long finish. So hard to resist.
