Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Marchesi di Barolo. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A Barolo born in the heart of the Langhe, from grapes grown in the Coste di Rose vineyard, one of the winery’s historic vineyards. The soil is rich in quartz sand and very fine silt. The vinification process involves a 10-day maceration, followed by two years of aging in Slavonian oak barrels and small French oak vats. Barolo Coste di Rose reaches maturity four years after harvest, and the maturation plateau ranges from four to 20 years. Intense aromas with distinct notes of rose, licorice, spices, and aromatic herbs, particularly wild mint. Ruby red color tending toward garnet. Full-bodied, elegant, and full-bodied on the palate. A wine that best expresses the elegance and complexity of Barolo.
