Description
The ‘Pommard 1er Cru Combes’ from Dessus has a hint of ripe blackberry, a spicy bouquet that is actually quite Volnay in style due to its precociousness. The palate is well balanced with ripe and juicy tannin, lots of black cherries and raspberry fruit, almost confit in style with a fine balance towards the spicy finish showing a touch of a powerful vein. It should drink well for several years.
