Still red Barolo DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Casa E. di Mirafiore in the Piedmont region of Italy. 100% Nebbiolo, 2016 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the history and passion of Casa E. di Mirafiore, with grapes from the prestigious Paiagallo vineyard. The aroma is rich with dark berry fruit: cherry, blackberry, and plum, with distinct hints of spices such as cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper. The ruby red color with garnet highlights is a prelude to a palate where soft, sweet tannins blend with a strong fruity sensation. The acidity, well balanced with the tannins, provides a sensation of freshness that prolongs the sensations on the nose.
