Still organic red Chianti Classico Riserva, 13.5% ABV, produced by Monteraponi in Tuscany. Blend: 90% Sangiovese, 7% Canaiolo Nero, 3% Colorino. 2021 vintage. A wine born in an ancient medieval village, with a centuries-old history and a production that follows the rhythms of nature. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in glass-lined cement tanks, without temperature control and without the addition of yeasts. Intense notes of spice and red fruits emerge on the nose. Garnet red. From the start, the strength and power of this wine overwhelm you. The complexity of the galestro (marl) combined with the clay gives it a truly remarkable flavor and persistence. The tertiary notes of aromatic herbs mixed with hints of broom and fennel make the wine perfectly in tune with the Chianti Classico terroir.
