Brut Champagne made using the classic method, produced by Pol Roger, a historic name in Champagne. 2015 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A tribute to Sir Winston Churchill, a wine that embodies elegance and complexity. The nose is dominated by notes of dried fruit, toasted almonds, and honey, a bouquet that evolves over time. Vinification involves two decantings of the must and cold fermentation. Secondary fermentation in the bottle at 9°C in Pol Roger’s cellars. Fine and persistent perlage. The color is golden yellow. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, yet balanced with a fresh citrus acidity. It is very long, with creamy notes of butter, plum, and ripe pear. Ideal for celebrating special occasions, it pairs perfectly with oysters, fish, and creamy dishes.
