Description
Still red from Piedmont, Barbaresco DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Ugo Lequio. 100% Nebbiolo, 2019 vintage. A Barbaresco born in the heart of the Gallina hill, once owned by the Counts Riccardi Candiani. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15-18 days. Aged for 20 months in 25hl Slavonian oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. Enveloping and complex aromas with spicy notes of licorice, pepper, leather, and rose. Ruby red color tending towards garnet. On the palate, it is full-bodied and austere, with remarkable harmony and balance.
