A still red from Puglia, produced by Masseria Li Veli. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Salice Salentino Riserva that has long demonstrated complexity and finesse. The nose reveals notes of cherries and ripe berries, followed by fine woodland scrub, cinchona, hints of iron, and a balsamic finish, leather, and graphite.
